Where: DKNY flagship store, Old Bond Street.
When: 20th October
Bright and early Wednesday morning I was invited to go along to the preview of DKNY's new collections. Not only were they revealing their Resort line, and Pre-Spring, but also a new look store.
Whether dressing for fun days, glam nights out or great escapes, DKNY has an eclectic mix of luxe classics and fantasy colours. The collections included lots of gold, sequins, pleated tunic, leggy pants, leather trim suiting the list is endless and impressive. There is knitwear for every climate, free falling cardigans and drama wraps.
Moving over to the Pre-Spring the art of detail is the word 'Du Jour', soft palettes such as ivory, ocean and asphalt in tweedy jackets, simple tunics, airy silk blouses, cargo skirts and slim trousers. For the ultimate holiday escape clothing you have Pure DKNY with dreamy washes of paisley, prints, stripes and ruffles.
I found the morning very informative and the collections were beautiful with lots of accessories including watches, footwear, gloves, umbrellas and wellies. The morning was a complete success and with it starting off at the coffee bar with light meals and pastries all made in-store by chef Thyago, it was the perfect way to start an autumn morning.
