T.M LEWIN - New Season Quilts
Quilted Jackets
AW15
A classic quilt jacket is the wardrobe staple that transcends age, class and sartorial status. It’s a timeless piece of stylish cool weather insulation you can reach for all year round, whether it’s to keep autumn evening chills at bay over a shirt or to battle the frost over a chunky knit in deepest darkest winter.
The basic jacket shape hasn’t changed much and the new range is very much modeled on the traditional quilted style. Once the outerwear of choice for country dwellers and the hunting elite, it’s now very much in demand amongst today’s modern urbanites too.
Practical and versatile, the new T.M.Lewin family of contemporary quilted jackets is available in a new and extended range of colours and styles. Navy, black, burgundy or khaki, they’re each perennially stylish, comfortable and perfect for long country walks and crowded city commutes.
The new season navy Alden four-pocket funnel-neck quilt is expertly finished with coordinating navy corduroy collar and trim; the practical matte water resistant finish keeping the wearer confidently warm and dry on even the bleakest of outdoor excursions.
New also is the Wadsworth khaki quilt. It’s lightly padded without feeling bulky and like the new ink-black Alex quilt, features smart corduroy trim and luxurious suede collar lining to add to the luxury feel.
Available online and at selected stores the new Keating quilt jacket comes in autumnal burgundy. Ideal if you like the idea of experimenting with a new colour palette this winter, it sits particularly nicely over pin sharp navy tailoring.

DV 25 - A PASSIONATE CELEBRATION OF TIME FROM VERSACE WATCHES
Versace marks the 25th anniversary of Versace Watches with DV 25, a new watch that celebrates time itself.
Created by artistic director Donatella Versace, the DV 25 imagines 25 o'clock - a time that goes beyond time. It is the hour of luxury, a moment that can be felt at any hour of the day.
The DV 25 brings together the legendary codes of the house with the passion of Versace today, with the famous Greek key decorating both the face and top ring, and a modern square shape.
The DV 25 comes with either four diamonds on the face, or a limited edition that is trimmed with diamonds on the top ring. Bracelet available in either black or white.
The ultimate expression of the power of DV 25 is a one-of-a-kind piece enriched by baguette diamonds, which will be worn by Donatella Versace herself.
Following its debut at Baselworld 2015, the DV 25 will make its global debut at a series of exclusive events at Versace boutiques worldwide, in cities such as Singapore, Hong Kong, New York and Milan.
Versace launched its first watch in 1990, bringing its style, passion and elegance to create the ultimate in timepieces. The DV 25 celebrates this special anniversary.
“The DV 25 marks a special moment for Versace Watches – a celebration of 25 years of excellence, and a look ahead to our future of innovation and luxury.” Gian Giacomo Ferraris, CEO of Versace.

BELSTAFF opens new store in Spitalfields, London
Belstaff is pleased to announce the opening of its second London store and its first in the East End. With just under 100 square metres of dedicated retail space, the 16 Lamb Street store in Old Spitalfields Market marks an important step in the evolution of Belstaff: opening its doors to a younger local audience that is passionate about authentic brands.
The concept for the store is in keeping with the mood of the local area and the requirements of the listed building. The exposed brickwork and a painted resin floor give it a gritty edge while at the same time feeling intimate and personal. Fixtures are a combination of raw steel and cork, two materials that reference elements of the Belstaff House flagship on London’s New Bond Street, designed by eminent interior designer and architect William Sofield.
The content is a mix of heritage pieces, wax cotton outerwear, leather, footwear and accessories, for men and women, together with a small curated vintage selection and the widest selection of Belstaff Pure Motorcycle products anywhere. Furthermore, what makes 16 Lamb Street a genuine destination for the stylish moto enthusiast is the purpose-built work table which will be used for jacket customisations, repairs and as a re-waxing station.
Belstaff’s Chief Executive Officer, Gavin Haig, said of the new opening:
“One year after the return of the brand to the UK, we are delighted to announce that Belstaff has found a second London home in Spitalfields. With great respect to the unique environment, we are excited to present a specially curated, intimate store that truly embraces our history. If our New Bond Street flagship emphasises the glamour of Belstaff, this store is all about our British moto heritage.”
Indeed, a 1958 custom Triumph Tiger 100 hardtail bobber and two special archive jackets are proudly displayed - one of which is a 1963 Trialmaster worn by Steve McQueen in The Great Escape (legend has it that McQueen cancelled a date with his then girlfriend, actress Ali MacGraw, so he could stay home and wax it). Anyone arriving by bike need only ring ahead - parking spaces are available directly outside for their machines.
Opening hours: Mon – Sat 11am – 7pm / Sun 11am – 6pm
Address: 16 Lamb Street, Spitalfields, London E1 6EA
