During Milan fashion week Gianvito Rossi set his digital footprint with the roll out of a newly redesigned website, launch of e-commerce and official debut to social media.
Website - The designer stated on the eve of his FW14 presentation that he wanted a "simple, straightforward and elegant space,” where he could engage his clients. The newly enhanced site, designed to ensure an overall improved user experience, features a neutral background with delicate fonts and icons that showcases pin-sharp product images, a journal featuring editorial coverage, and pictures and information about Gianvito Rossi boutiques.
E-commerce – “I wanted my clients to see every detail, to perceive the high level of quality, and to understand the silhouette and fit of every style so that they could be best informed when purchasing a shoe,” stated the designer in regards to the newly launched on-line boutique. The site currently ships to countries in Europe and plans to expand the service in the future.
Social Media – Gianvito Rossi makes his debut into the world of social media by opening accounts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. “I want to share the world of Gianvito Rossi with my clients and receive the immediate feedback that these platforms have to offer,” said Rossi. Social media posts will include, spotlights on key styles, images of fashion icons wearing the collection, news about special events and all things inspiring to the brand.
