'MO SISTAS' ARE NO LONGER EXCLUDED FROM MOVEMBER

‘MO SISTAS’ ARE NO LONGER EXCLUDED FROM MOVEMBER THANKS TO TWITTER CRAZE

Women throughout the UK can now finally do their bit for Movember - thanks to a new Twitter craze sweeping the nation that is helping raise money for testicular and prostate cancer.

From make-up moustaches to unconventional uses of hair dye, thousands of women are tweeting pictures of their Movember taches using the #MoSistas hashtag.

The craze follows years of frustration amongst women who have felt excluded from the predominantly male charity initiative which has raised large amounts of money for good causes and also increased awareness and discussion amongst men about the health risks they face.

This year, international fashion retailer TSHIRT STORE is throwing its support behind the campaign. The brand has designed its own special edition Movember t-shirt and is giving away 10% of every t-shirt sold to the official Movember charity.

Robin Skidmore, Commercial Director of TSHIRT STORE UK, said, “We’d always thought it unfair that women have traditionally felt excluded from Movember and so wanted to change that this year.

“We’re starting to receive funny and some outrageous photos to the #MoSistas hashtag which is helping spread the word that we’re giving away 10% from every Movember t-shirt we sell. We’d encourage even more women across the UK to get tweeting their best #MoSistas tache pics to @TSHIRTSTOREUK and help make this Movember the most successful yet!”

All TSHIRT STORE t-shirts are available from www.tshirtstoreonline.com/uk and in the following UK stores:

London, Covent Garden

Guildford
