I'm going to be 100% honest I'm a designer dude everything designer but going to the three stores on the 31st really gave me food for thought ....
First stop was Burton as we all know Topman is the ultimate place for great menswear clothing but I wanted to shake it up a bit a select outerwear and a party blazer from Burton
As a stylist aswell as fashion editor this blazer and waistcoat combo was an absolute must .... It's was grey check which just made it so much easier and versatile ... Add dark trousers and a white shirt and black tie and you have a great party look... For a more casual look loose the tie keep the white shirt and just add blue or black jeans.
For outerwear to chose a duffel coat ... You can't beat a duffel coat as it's timeless I already own one in black but what I liked about this was it was tan you don't see many of them and it was a referees hung change ... Definitely a must buy!
Next stop was the BHS shop on Oxford street here I was looking for a winter warmer and my accessory of the season
For my winter warmer I chose this awesome thick knit cable cardigan .... This was pure luxury and my style as many of you know I'm all about my knitwear ... But this ticked so many boxes but most importantly warm and stylish and the price point was only £35 and is from the new Jack Reid Marylebone collection at BHS #oustanding
For my men's accessory for the season this was a hard one ... Should it be a bag, a scarf, belt??? Well I opted for black leather gloves as I believe Everyman should own a pair it just adds panache to an outit and gives a great out that extra so something, something
Now my third pit stop I left the best till last ... The Mecca that is Topman ... In here I was looking for something check to correspond with my brief check mate and also the perfect hat.... Easy right ? Wrong the choice was too vast and that's the sign that says every angle is covered ... My kind of shopping
Here we go I'm in love!!! For check mate I chose this skinny fit tartan suit ... Omg! I can't breathe he tartan was blue and green and was not in your face it was subtle but showed just the right about of check and colour and makes this suit fall under my category of future vintage ... If your kind to this suit it will look after you ... This is on my ever growing lust list and no matter what I'm going to own it!!!
Now I've saved the best to last because you get to see me ...#LOL it's my must have hat for the season and as I'm partial to the pom pom hats it had to be this one with the word 'freshman' written on it ....
My Halloween started off amazing and it was great doing a good old fashion style trail or as I called it treasure hunt because that's what I managed to do unearth some awesome treasure
