MUST SEE - INCLUSION AND DIVERSITY AT FASHION WEEKS

So fashion month is well and truly underway and finishes in a few days so I think I can talk about inclusion and diversity especially with it now being black history month.... I think brands around the world feel, they have been bullied in included certain people in their fashions for example Versace and their now plus size models in the collections, but let me make a check list of what is what because black people are still missing out still an after thought and still being passed over .... I've been modelling for over 20 years I do ok but I could do better and a lot of the male white models I used to work with are now distant memories bit I'm still out here doing my thing booking mainly campaigns but missing walking in shows ... become of my former work with Russias next top model this has helped I still get interviews and magazine spreads but not as much as my white counterparts ....

So here's the check list ...this season across the board and I'm not picking on any brands really but fendi, phoebe English, DSQUARED2 are just a few who have been leaving out one category try and see if you can guess which one

We have

Young white female models      Check
Young white male models.         Check
Plus size female white models. Check
Plus size black female models.   Check
Young black female models.  Check  but only with a real African look
Young black male models.      Check.  Once again only with a real African look
Older white female models.  Check
Older white male models.   Check

What are we missing????????

Are there no older black male and female models ????? I'm one I know many, many are signed why is the category being and still being ignored????  We have paid our due I have done some jobs that I should  have been given therapy afterwards....

Come on guys wake up!!!!! I'll leave you with this one last thought on a few occasions as a special booking model I don't have to do castings but when I arrive to work or do a said casting note which I don't normally do they normally have a younger black guy with a real African look and they will grey is hair up

This is what we as the older generation of black models who pathed  the way and paid or dues have to put up with in a world where we are told there is no racism ...
