Weekend Offender AW16 trend release
Seasonal trend stories are changing in the menswear market with the emphasis now being on the aesthetics, performance and construction of a garment. This has always been the focus for Weekend Offender.
Our message is clear: the look is smart, casual and clean with a fitted, slim silhouette.
Dark and moody black and de-saturated ink shades along with a rich, deep wine hue create the main hub of the AW16 palette. Autumnal tones of reds, army olive greens and a purple heather thistle haze form the starker elements of the palette.
Membrane materials, coatings, plus a bonding of two fabrics, offer an improved protection and comfort qualities with the soft-touch shell fabrics allowing ease of movement as they follow body movement.
Quilted layering in a tonal or monotone colour level add depth and dimension to smart and casual looks. Texture is key for the season within knitwear in standout cable and mélange contrasts.
Outerwear has a more practical take with a sportier silhouette: slimmer shapes in jackets with a draw-in waist for a more defined look.
The retro sports element gives way to a range of styles, both fresh and new, but reminiscent of an 80s era.
