EUROPE’S LARGEST FESTIVAL ROAD TRIP IS BACK AND IT’S A MAD MISSION TO THE MOUNTAINS!
ROAD TRIP THEME AND TICKETS PLUS CRAFT OF DAFT ACTIVITY RELEASED
Mayrhofen, Austria
Snowbombing - the world’s no.1 music festival on snow – is once again inviting Snowbombing fans to embark on one of the greatest two-day road trips across Europe, final destination: Snowbombing 2016, Mayrhofen, Austria.
Welcoming over 500 car-noisseurs, this year’s MAD MAX theme invites all rockers, rollers, Acolytes and Nightriders to don their leathers, studs, piercings and ripped denim as they plunge into the maximum mayhem of Snowbombing’s Mad Mission to the Mountains!
Road warriors will swap the mundanity of economy airlines for an adventure on the Fury Road alongside other festival-lovin’, hard-livin’ petrol-headed adrenalin freaks as they snake their way across the UK, France and Germany before arriving at the greatest festival on snow in Austria.
The colourful, crazy, non-competitive, musically-mashed-up road trip will - for the first time in Snowbombing history - break away from its traditional route to embark on the Lost Highway to the captivating city of Karlsruhe, Germany, for the legendary stop-over. Known for its age-old reputation of hard drinking and late-night partying, Mad Max Missionaries will enjoy road-trip raves and countless drafts of Hefeweizen at the stop-over party and pubs hidden in the town before catching up on some must needed zeds at the luxurious 4* Radisson Blu hotel. For those who can’t handle the heat and need to take their foot off the gas, there are plenty of placid pursuits including museums, architecture and even a world famous zoo! And if that’s not enough, guests can also enjoy the hotel’s countless number of amenities including a flat screen TV – yes, you can catch-up on the German version of ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’, free WIFI and a modern health club offering a gym, indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and solarium.
With a stunning journey across the beautiful landscapes of Europe, countless parties and an abundance of free food, drink and extra activity, Snowbombing’s Mission to the Mountains Road Trip is a truly not-to-be-missed experience. Tickets are extremely limited and guaranteed to sell out fast so make sure you add it onto your Snowbombing booking as an optional extra for a super early price of £299 per car. By purchasing the SB16 RT package, you’ll automatically secure a room as the 4* Radisson Blu hotel for the extremely cheap rate of €65 (single room with breakfast) or €80 (double room with breakfast) for those looking to share.
The package includes return ferry tickets, departure breakfast and send-off party, awesome flags and decal stickers to brand each vehicle, an official road trip manual including routes, tasks and activities, Pit Stop Party access on Saturday’s stop-over complete with complimentary food, drinks and renowned DJ sets, breakfast in Radisson Blu to accelerate you through the last leg of the journey, guaranteed ticket to the Mad Max welcome reception, entry into the awards ceremony with welcome drinks (for hardcore Snowbombers who can handle more) as well as a few extras and goodies thrown in for good measure!
Snowbombing takes place from 4th – 9th April 2016, in the picturesque alpine town of Mayrhofen in Austria. Acts confirmed for 2016 include Prodigy, Andy C, Bastille, Jamie Jones, Jungle, Netsky, Slaves, Sven Väth, Groove Armada, Oliver Heldens and many, many more.
Also on the bill this year is Snowbombing’s Craft of Daft, famous for the most random, eclectic and friendly collection of bands, DJ’s and mischief-makers in the world. 2016 welcomes the return of an old favourite and the original ‘Muscle from the Mountains’ - Mr Motivator. The number one fitness guru will be spreading the good word of stretching and feel good fun with his legendary warm down routines each day at 16:00. Other not-to-miss activity includes the legendary Snowbombing pop-up parties, Ski Lift Karaoke, iPod Battles, Snow-Olympics, Chair Lift Speed Dating, Tug of War, daily sessions of The Dance Off, the notorious Snow Party, Snowball Fights and Snow Dodgeball plus more announcements still to come including the theme and fancy dress of Snowbombing’s Street Party, Pool Party and the Pro Riders announcement for Ride & Seek.
So if dancing against an unparalleled panoramic backdrop that other festivals could only dream of, partying with the world’s most groundbreaking live acts and DJs, relaxing in a luxury spa or just riding the fresh white powder appeals, then join us in Mayrhofen for SB16! Packages start from just £339 (+bf) for 5 nights' accommodation and a complimentary festival wristband. Book your place by visiting www.snowbombing.com
