CHEAP MONDAY PRESENTS BORROWED JEANS

For Fall 2015, Cheap Monday presents Borrowed Jeans: a playful twist on proportions which sets the denim look for the season.  The Borrowed Jeans collection comprises of 6 fits inspired by the jeans you long to borrow from someone else to get that perfect look, whether it be your boyfriend, girlfriend, best friend or even your mum.

The Borrowed Jeans collections offers three fits for women - Donna, Common & Omega and three for men - Sonic, Linear & Him Spray.

The oversized Common is a brand new fit for Fall 2015 with a mid-rise waist and straight legs making for the perfect boyfriend fit in an effortlessly-styled, lazy Sunday kind of manner. Wear Common in hero wash & worn rinse Holocene teamed with a chunky knit and heels for a diverse, ever-cool look. Donna is Cheap Monday’s take on Mom jeans - the perfect throwback silhouette with a high-rise waist and tapered leg. Favourite wash, ODD, is an indigo blue, faded-out rinse that calls for a sweatshirt and sneakers mix.

Best friend fit Omega, is Cheap Monday’s most oversized fit with super wide and straight legs for a flowing silhouette that makes these a wardrobe stand out piece. Hero wash OD Black is a dark yet classic, washed-out rise, which teamed with a striped top or velvet tank provides a bold day-to-night look.

Sonic is another brand new fit in the range for men with straight legs and a slim silhouette, making these a versatile and super easy to style ‘best mate’ fit. Wear Linear in raw indigo hero wash Blue Rinse and team with a simple tee or sweat for an essential, everyday look. For a classic style with a regular fit and tapered leg, Cheap Monday presents Linear. A pair of jeans that are timeless, reliable and forever cool - the ultimate ‘best mate’ fit. Wear hero wash Near Black, a faded-out rinse, with a chunky knit and biker jacket for a chic, dressed-up look.

And last but not least, Him Spray - our skinniest, stretchiest and softest fit ever for all the guys who want a super tight, yet comfortable fit without having to steal their girlfriends! The favourite is a heavy washed out Fail Black which teamed with a smart shirt, makes for a sharp look.

For the Borrowed Jeans campaign, Cheap Monday have collaborated with top Swedish bloggers Frida Vega Salomonsson and Gustav Broström who have created their favourite looks from the collection, shooting images using their own personal, creative expression. Photographer and blogger Frida Vega Salomonsson is an expert on putting together inspiring Scandi-style looks with an edge. When not in her photo studio she is balancing blogging & podcasting with being the co-founder of Paper Light Magazine as well as giving her thousands of instagram-followers daily style inspiration.   ​Stockholm native Gustav Broström is a blogger and still life stylist and a favourite source for menswear inspiration. When not blogging and shooting pictures, he is busy studying journalism. This self-proclaimed style chameleon’s cool, confident outfit-looks will be sure to inspire you to do anything but blend into the background. The Borrowed Jeans campaign will be going live on Monday 7th September featuring the brands denim designer Carl Malmgren who will also be handing out some denim styling tips.
