Petit Bateau's Christmas collaboration

THE PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN
PETIT BATEAU AND CÉDRIC CHARLIER

Petit Bateau is always enthusiastic about enriching
its collections through exclusive partnerships.
For the end of the year, the brand has lined up
a collaborative project that brings together
its legendary sailor stripes and the imagination
of Belgian designer Cédric Charlier.

Using the iconic sailor stripes as a canvas for his creations,
Cédric Charlier has designed a capsule collection for men,
women and children that is perfectly in tune with the times.
Its contemporary style, underpinned by the meticulousness
and cuts Charlier is known for, is apparent in soft, comfortable
pieces that break up the classic lines with collages and shake
up traditional designs by using bold colours.
Painted lines jostle perfectly straight stripes and the usual
horizontal stripes share the spotlight with their vertical peers,
both in a new range of widths.

Photographer Alfredo Piola has captured the lively collection
and its celebration of movement in a “zero gravity” photo
shoot that features dancers executing a variety of daring acrobatic feats.
