HIV and AIDs is a topic not often discussed or understood by British youth society but following a grant by Björn Borg, Oxford-based agency Chasing Zero is taking action.
A series of ice-cream parties will be held in the hope for Chasing Zero to reach zero AIDS-related deaths, zero HIV infections, and zero discrimination for those living with HIV.
Through the Björn Borg Grant, Björn Borg follows up on their collaboration last year with the MTV Staying Alive Foundation, aiming to combat the spread of HIV among young people in Europe. As part of the collaboration Björn Borg created a limited edition “Get it On” underwear collection; €1 from the sale of each pair of underwear was donated to MTV Staying Alive Foundation projects in Europe through the Björn Borg Grant.
“Since we make underwear that makes people attractive, we want to emphasise the importance to Get it On in a safe way. Through supporting Chasing Zero, we hope to bring the topic of HIV into the limelight and contribute to stopping HIV before it even starts”, says Lina Söderqvist, Marketing Director, Björn Borg.
