British eyewear brand Eye Respect are delighted to announce their Summer-long sunglass bar installation and customisation programme, at one of London’s premier destination stores, The Shop at Bluebird.
Situated on the ground floor of the iconic Bluebird building on London’s Kings Road, The Shop at Bluebird has long been heralded as one of the world’s most influential independent style and “objet” retailers.
Eye Respect will be presenting their collections across 2 especially commissioned light box units, created to expose the Mazzuchelli acetate tones and Carl Zeiss lense colours to their full potential.
On selected shopping weekends, Eye Respect will also be showcasing their custom eyewear programme. Bluebird customers will be able to choose from a range of frame components, acetate swatches, lense colours and tones, and watch whilst their chosen combination is assembled in-store, on the spot, and fitted to the customer. True hand-made sun and optical frames entirely personal to the consumer.
Eye Respect was born out of a desire to pay homage to the long and distinguished histories of English & Italian culture, style and standards of craftsmanship.
From our mutual obsessions with design and quality comes a harmonious understanding of “sprezzatura”; The effortless combination of style and attention to detail that are inherent in both cultures. This makes our approach to the personal aspects within our lifestyles refined and meaningful.
Referencing key landmarks in Anglo-Italian style, the collection is a reflection of the exacting standards both cultures embrace. From the traditional to the contemporary, with a strong heritage influence, Eye Respect collections attract a broad selection of both traditional professionals and sub-cultured tribes.
Eye Respect frames are designed by hand and manufactured by hand. Our designs are conceived in London in the artisinal way, and then head to the region of Veneto in Northern Italy to a family – owned workshop that has been producing the finest acetate frames for 50 years. Each frame goes through more than 60 crafted stages to achieve the style and quality that we respect, represent and embrace.
