GIORGIO ARMANI OPENS NEW ACCESSORIES BOUTIQUE

THE ARMANI GROUP CELEBRATES ITS NEW GIORGIO ARMANI ACCESSORIES BOUTIQUE, IN MILAN’S GALLERIA VITTORIO EMANUELE II

Giorgio Armani is pleased to announce that a cocktail will be held tonight, February 21st 2014, at the new Giorgio Armani Accessories boutique in Milan’s Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, to celebrate its opening, as well as the new Spring/Summer 2014 collection.

The boutique, which covers a total of 220 square metres on two levels, introduce a new design combining elegance and attention to detail with modernity to complement Giorgio Armani men’s and women’s accessories collections. The use of different colours and refined materials characterises the three main areas. The entrance from the Galleria, where the boutique has two windows, features silver coloured walls and ceiling and a green Persian onyx floor; the furniture is made of ash wood with a sanded silver finish. The second room, with its staircase and lift to the first floor, has gold-coloured walls and ceiling with Renoir quartzite flooring; the furniture is again made of ash wood, with a silvery dove grey finish. The walls and ceiling are covered with glossy fabric as in the other rooms but in in petrol blue, while the floor features an unusual quartzite from South Africa, and the furniture is made of ash wood with a green finish.

Giorgio Armani says: “Accessories are no longer a simple addition to the collections; over time they have become a real point of strength of the Armani style and represent an increasingly important part of the group's business. It seemed to me that it was time to give proper visibility to the accessories collections for men and women in a store specifically designed to showcase these. The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele is the perfect location, as it is a historically important building in Milan and a high-traffic destination for international tourism."
