JD Sports launch the Face Of JD





January 2014 sees the unrivalled King of Trainers, JD launch the latest Face of JD campaign, with a search for real people with undisputed style and fresh new talent to appear in this year’s nationwide advertising campaign that will feature across billboards, posters and magazines, including RWD.


With casting crews scouring 5 major cities in the UK throughout January, JD’s street team will kick off the search for talented individuals that are style conscious, confident and with a strong sense of identity, to be invited to attend castings in cities from Glasgow, to Liverpool and wrapping up in London.

For 2014 it is even easier to enter with the use of the new and improved smartphone JD app, via the Facebook application and www.jdsports.co.uk. The app allows consumers to quickly upload photos, a bio and showcase any social channels, to gain votes across all digital platforms. The 20 with the most votes will automatically make it through to their local casting event, with a further 100 from each region specially selected by JD’s judging panel to attend- 2014 is set to the biggest and best year yet! Invitees will be professionally photographed and filmed by the JD crew and receive a goody bag packed with gifts!
