British heritage brand Henri Lloyd is proud to present the launch of the AW13 esteemed Black Label range, to celebrate the brands impressive 50th anniversary. Reflecting on ground breaking iconic developments found in the Henri Lloyd technical marine collection the Black Label autumn 13 embraces the original mantra ‘Same Planet. Another World’
The Black Label AW13 collection features 2 exclusive images from the world renowned sailor Sir Ben Ainslie who has become synonymous with the brand, through his close emotional bond that has spanned nearly two decades.
The 7 piece capsule collection features Jacket offerings of the ‘Douglas’ bomber and ‘Fourth’ jacket, which are complimented with the addition of apparel in the ‘Bosun’ knit jumper, ‘Bosworth’ sweatshirt, ‘Henlow’ regular shirt, ‘Chay’ polo and ‘Chatford’ jeans.
Whilst the luxury knitwear, classic denims and shirting are key to the collection the true spirit of the range comes to life with the second generation ‘Forth’ jacket and ‘Douglas’ bomber. The ‘Forth’ jacket features a resin PU finish which gives it a weathered texture; enforcing and echoing the brands nautical credentials as well as paying tribute to the brands prestigious archive and Italian design influence. Equally equipped to stand up to the harsher elements is the ‘Douglas’ Bomber with its fully taped waterproof seams and lightweight nylon fabrics it fits beautifully within the Black Label ethos. Both garments still uniquely made in the company’s own factory in Poland, authenticity can be guaranteed by using the very same construction methods, ensuring a consistent approach to a superb quality and finish.
As per the original Black Label collection, the garments will be available in 4 colour ways – black, navy, surf and charcoal, and will include Henri Lloyds iconic reflective taping and heritage branding.
