Depop Launches in UK- Showcases New and Exclusive Product from London’s Finest Creatives

Katie Eary, Goodhood and Beach London Amongst First To Offer One-Offs and Rare Items For Sale

Depop, the new app which lets you build a social community to buy and sell in, has come to the UK. Some of London’s best creative talent are already involved, personally selling rare and unusual items only available on Depop.

Designer Katie Eary is offering straight-off-the-catwalk originals as well as fabric samples of her unique prints. Beach London have cemented themselves as one of London’s finest galleries, bringing their array of illustrations and prints direct to Depop users. Meanwhile, Goodhood will be showing their followers a line up of apparel, accessories and homewares.

Melding the social aspect of Instagram with eBay’s easy access, Depop is a practical environment free from the noise associated with marketplace selling; users only follow profiles that interest them and buy at a set price from hundreds of thousands of items including trainers, clothing, records, sunglasses, bikes, books and magazines.

Uploading is done directly from a phone or camera roll and users can like, comment and tag friends on items as well as sharing on Facebook and Twitter for a truly social shopping experience.

Conceived and designed by Simon Beckermen (founder of PIG magazine and co-founder of Daft Punk and Kanye West favourite, retrosuperfuture sunglasses), Depop offers direct access to designers and collectors around the globe all from your phone.

Depop is your little shop in your pocket
