The new collection is split into two: the first half features couture French leavers laces paired with elastic strapping based styles. The second focuses on upcycling: handpicked kimono silks in modern inspired silhouettes, with mini knickers, high-waisted briefs, waspie corsets and Swarovski embellished nipple pasties.
Just entering its second year, the Karolina Laskowska brand has already earned numerous international stockists and an extensive press portfolio. What is perhaps most impressive however, is that the brand’s namesake designer is still a student at the prestigious Contour Fashion course at De Montfort University. Despite still having a year left of studies, Karolina has managed to successfully crowdfund a new collection this season via the website Indiegogo.
The ‘Classics’ range was released in the Summer of 2012 and has proven the most commercially successful, picking up international stockists and press acclaim.
