Chelsea Sleeps Rough
A Night under the Stars to Help the Homeless Friday 4th October 2013
Duke of York Square and The West London Churches Homeless Concern are inviting members of the public to join them for a rough night’s sleep under the stars, raising money to help alleviate homelessness in West London. On the 4th October, from 10pm – 6am, 250 participants will be sleeping rough on Duke of York Square to experience firsthand what it feels like to be homeless.
Entrants will only be allowed to bring with them one sleeping bag and sleeping mat, guaranteed to create a chilling, yet awakening experience as the brisk October night draws in. When the sun rises, all participants will be congratulated with a well earned complimentary breakfast, provided by Partridges Food Market.
With a fundraising target of £100,000, Duke of York Square and the West London Churches Homeless Concern are hoping to raise enough money to provide regular food, shelter and support for London’s most vulnerable. If you would like to sponsor a participant please visit www.justgiving.com/WLCHCSponsoredSleepOut. Alternatively, if you would like to participate - individually or as a team - please contact sleepout@wlchc.eclipse.co.uk
