BLOGGER PRINCE CASSIUS LENDS HIS NAME TO TED BAKER FOOTWEAR
For Spring Summer 2013 Ted Baker Footwear are honouring the ‘blogger’, by naming not one, but two of Ted’s shoes after the dapper Prince Cassius. Having achieved over 2,000 Twitter followers by regularly blogging about fashion press launches and events, Prince generates a lot of excitement at Fashion Weeks; culminating in his nomination for GQ.com’s first ‘Best Dressed Man’ award.
Having met with Ted’s cobblers earlier in 2012, Prince gravitated towards two favourite styles in the collection, one casual, one formal, lending his name and charisma to both ‘Jamfro’ and ‘Cassiuss’.
Ted’s SS13 collection shifts towards a more relaxed outlook this season, with the laid-back gentleman in mind. Offered in soft deconstructed suedes in a rainbow of warm pastels and chalky lights, Jamfro epitomises the casual brogue with its relaxed rubber sole. In contrast, Cassiuss is a Debonair formal two-tone leather and canvas brogue that comes in either black and grey or in a stand-out tan and cream. The navy polka dot sock and lining, reminiscent of gentlemen’s silk pocket squares, are synonymous with Prince’s sartorial style and the perfect accompaniment to a formal attire (and oversized afro).
Whatever the occasion this season, be it casual or formal, Ted Baker have the right shoes for you. The SS13 collection will be available this January from Ted Baker Stores and Tedbaker.com.
This is great! Congrats Prince Cassius!Love the designs!
