Topman to launch new A.D. T-shirt collection next month
This July sees Topman launching the latest collection of A.D. T-Shirts inspired by 'The Forgotten Games of 1944'. The 1944 Summer Olympics, which were to take place in London and be officially known as The Games of the XIII Olympiad, were cancelled due to World War II. A.D. is a conceptual design label influenced by events that have transpired and shaped London. Each capsule collection aims to form a narrative linked to a specific part of London's history. The range comprises limited edition black and white T-shirts, each numbered 1-50. These feature monochromatic artworks that have been hand-silkscreened in a London-based print studio. Designs have drawn inspiration from athletic logo or branding concepts, sports event environments and memorabilia. All T-shirts are priced at £20 and will be available at Topman Oxford Circus, Selfridges London and online.
