The Nicole Farhi AW 12 show for me was one of the best at London fashion week this season, so it was great going along to the press preview to take a closer look. The collection is rich in colour and texture and was inspired by the Edith Sitwell boo "English Eccentrics". Prints are used in contrast with one another, to create a soft feminine silhouette. The Silhouette are clean, drawing sift 1930s feminine lines. Lots of silks and layered knitwear are present and create elegant fluid shapes.......
The pairing of soft materials and hard textures continues through mettalic stud embossed clutches, leather plaited bags and chunky enamelled jewellery.
