OSMAN A/W 11/12 (LONDON FASHION WEEK)

The Osman show is always a  must go every season and I was honoured to attend on day 3.  The colour palettes were brights oranges, pinks, greens and Osman's signature blue.  The collection takes inspiration from the artist Catherine Yass's recent of series of lightboxes, titled decommissioned.

With the designer's trademark silhouettes and shapes present throughout in a combination of luxurious and textural fabrics such as cashmere, quilted brocade, matelasse and alpaca wool.  Floor skimming coats and softly structured dresses and combined with sharp tailoring and elegantly draped separates.

Clean lines and fitted bodices sit alongside beautifully tailored trousers and soft bell skirts while dresses can be unzipped to become separates and lengths adjusted for a truly adaptable collection.

A truly spectacular collection, gets a double thumbs up from the Clotheshorse!!
