ENERGIE S/S 11

The Spring/Summer 2011 collection sees Energie living the American dream; going back to the 80’s with preppy sportswear and collegiate designs. Colour is key this season, and S/S11 Energie embraces the brightest of rainbow hues; from cherry red to wood green and Hockney-esque swimming pool turquoise. At the heart of the collection Energie denim evolves once more, paying ever greater attention to detail in order to create stand-out, individual pieces. Key new jeans styles include the skinny CATCH, the slim fit RALPH with five pocket detail, and the baggy comfort fit ROOSTER, while old favourites BOW and MORRIS are reworked for S/S11 as the key components in a new lux denim capsule collection.

Electro Arcade


Inspired by nu-rave, Energie channels the late 70s/early 80s club scene with skinny fit denim and stylish disco graphics. Black is dominant with accents of fuchsia and electric blue. Rhinestone detail and silver coatings give create a shiny night-scene feel, with an underground electro edge.

Coast to Coast


Energie goes back to basics, paying homage to the best of vintage Americana. Worn-look denim, treated knitwear, chambray and checks are designed to be layered, giving an authentic preppy American look. Graphics and accessories play on variations on the Star Spangled Banner, with shirting a key component of this look- available in a huge selection of patterns, fits and lengths.

80’s College


Alongside the preppy Coast to Coast pieces, a range of sporty, 80’s college garments build on Energie’s tribute to all things American this season. For the first time Energie introduces the extra slim fit T-shirt, available in round and v-neck with button detail. T-shirts are the mainstay of this range, emblazoned with bold numbers and letter graphics, an 80s variation of the Energie logo, or in plain block colours. Denim and cotton trousers are acid washed, and come in bright reds, blues and green, with matching 80’s high-top trainers to complete the look.

Energie Super-Lux Denim and Gold Collection


New for S/S11, Energie introduces a capsule range of premium denim; luxury jeans, made in Italy from quality fabrics and in timeless styles. The classic 5 pocket BURNEY, BOW and MORRIS jeans are available in either a vintage or selvedge finish.  The quality of the product is echoed in the intricate details- a new look Energie logo is embroidered into the inside waistband, and onto a leather hang tag. These lux denim jeans are complemented by the Gold Collection apparel- a range of high fashion, directional pieces referencing the opulent styles of 1950s Havana nightclubs.

The Spring/Summer collection has been totally revamped and its basically a new looking Energie.  The bold logos have now been swapped for more subtle detailing.
