"COUTURE IN THE 21st CENTURY" BOOK LAUNCH AT HARRODS

When: 14th October
Where: La Duree at Harrods

Fashion designers, the fashion pack and notable figures of society, all descended on The La Druee  at Harrods for the much anticipated launch of new fashion book "Couture in the 21st Century".

The book is a collaboration between Harrods of London Publishing and world famous photographer Rankin.  It is seen a fashion reference book that follows the journey of couture in photography, with designers such as Hannah Marshall, Roland Mouret and Giorgio Armani describing their relationship with couture and how it has inspired them. During the night I was privileged to meet Marigay McKee, Fashion & Beauty Director of Harrods and Deborah Bee, Author and Editor-in-Chief of Harrods Publishing.  Both ladies gave brief speeches and introduced the book to guests.  Unfortunately Rankin was unable to attend on the night.

The night was lots of fun with lots to eat and drink, and all our needs catered for in a manner only Harrods can do.  I felt so honoured that I was invited to the launch of the first of what will no doubt be many books  from Harrods Publishing. I would like to thank the Harrods team for inviting not only myself but other fashion bloggers to the event.

Couture in the 21st Century is  must for every coffee table, the cover alone is intriguing and inviting, I'm very thankful as each guest received a complimentary copy.  Please do check it out! Big thumbs up!

The book is available in-store or from http://www.harrods.com/ and from all good online bookshops.
