THE ROW DEBUTS FIRST SHOE COLLECTION FOR PRE FALL 2016

10 years after starting The Row label, the Olsen twins Ashley and Mary- Kate debut their first shoe collection for the The Row for pre fall 2016 .... They wanted each piece to be transitional and versatile. For me looking at the collection these pieces kind of and don't kind of fit but that's just my opinion and to be quite honest a little disappointing but that all said and done there is a collection and they come in the form of the sided ankle boots below.

The collection is now available to pre order at Neiman Marcus where you can also view the full collection with prices starting from approximately £580 ...

BEYONCÉ WEARS CUSTOM DSQUARED2

Beyoncé brings her new album Lemonade’s political and personal messages of feminine empowerment and self-acceptance to life in her Formation world tour kicking off in Miami, Florida on April 27.

Following the celebrated leather warrior jacket Dsquared2 created for Beyoncé’s electrifying Super Bowl performance earlier this year, the opening look for the Formation World Tour embodies Dsquared2’s signature design and Beyoncé’s enigmatic new style.

Dsquared2 also designed the complimentary looks for her 20 female dancers.

We are crazy about Beyoncé, and working with her to create this opening look for the Formation tour is such a huge thrill and honor. The look tells a story, drawing from the motifs of our recent women’s runway collection while, at the same time, visualizing the powerful themes in her new music.
It’s really exciting to see it come to life on stage - especially since she opens the show in full Dsquared2,” said Dan and Dean Caten.

Beyoncé wears an elaborate and customized Victorian style outfit taking inspiration from the last FW16 Dsquared2 collection. It comprised by a black crystal embroidered bustier with velvet, puff shouldered embroidered sleeves, broad brim hat, and lace embellished leather gloves.

A tattoo lace bodysuit creates an embroidery effect on the skin while a crystal mesh fishnet bodysuit brings light to the look. Ruffled and jeweled black ankle boots finish off the look.

Beyonce’ s dancers complement her in a Victorian style black lace bodysuit with leather and lace gloves, a broad brim hat, and ruffled capelet with a bow at the neck.

The Formation World Tour will visit 22 cities in North America and 16 cities in Europe and the UK until August 2016.

The International music legend posted her DSQUARED2 look in a video announcing the kick-off of her tour on Instagram on the night.

EVISU Spring Summer 2016 Collection The Time Traveller

EVISU Spring Summer 2016 Collection
The Time Traveller

For Spring Summer 2016, EVISU embarks on a bit of time travel as it jets to the future and borrows from the past. The new collection features EVISU Clan, a collection that pays tribute to EVISU’s Japanese heritage through samurai-influenced silhouettes, sporty shapes, and bold graphics; and Future Fusion, a range of digitally inspired looks that play with distortion, colours, and innovative fabrics. The quintessential EVISU spirit pervades the season as quality and craftsmanship is once again cleverly juxtaposed with a sense of humour and an irreverent, carefree attitude.

EVISU Clan draws its inspiration from traditional Japan, referencing the revered samurai and the martial art form of kendo. Longline silhouettes, voluminous shapes, and functional sportswear dominate the collection, while unique detailing and innovative fabric treatments add a modern touch to individual pieces. For the men, the EVISU Clan collection goes neo-samurai this season, featuring new, roomier shapes as seen on the loose-cut hoodie jacket, as well as a selection of wide-leg pants and loose-cut joggers. The “athleisure” theme runs through the collection with reinterpreted sportswear pieces crafted in sporty fabrics such as neoprene mesh and cotton terry, and enhanced with functional details including mesh pockets and water repellent zippers. Bold graphics, prints, and fonts make a powerful style statement as they are presented on both classic and new silhouettes. Celebrating the arrival of spring is a new digital Japanese floral print featuring the symbolic cherry blossoms, which is splashed across a variety of items including the souvenir jacket, low-rise shorts, pocket tees, shirts, and EVISU’s signature DAICOCK jeans. An allover EVISU logo pattern also takes centre stage on the zip-up functional jacket, logo print tee, shorts, DAICOCK jeans, and wide-leg pants, while stripes return this season in dark indigo and ecru for a sporty chic vibe. The women’s range offers a wide array of “longline” pieces that features extended hemlines, including a sophisticated lightweight wind coat, a longline dress with patchwork detailing, an elongated souvenir jacket, as well as an ombré shirt with a detachable hem for added versatility. Denim returns for the warmer season in new shapes as well, with dip-dye denim culottes, a reversible A-line denim skirt, and boyfriend jeans all elevating an old classic in fresh, new ways. The women’s collection also offers an enticing selection of well-designed pieces that combines leisure and athletic wear. Functional yet fashionable detailing injects a hint of uniqueness to this range of elevated sportswear. The collection’s wind jackets feature feminine pleat details at the back, as does the “punched blouse”, which also boasts perforated fabric on the sleeves for a sporty accent. Mesh is used liberally throughout the range as a nod to sportwear, and is seen on the mesh mixed blouse, tank tops with double mesh collars, printed “mesh blocking” sweatpants, and mesh trimmed shorts. Embossed glossy badges and graphics boxed in within borders add a final dash of sportiness to the collection.

Future Fusion is an exploration of technology, digital art, and futuristic fashion. Deconstruction and distortion reign supreme: fabrics and colours are mixed and matched together in playful and unexpected ways, while graphics are pixelated and warped, recalling computer glitches and old-school graphics of yesteryear. The men’s collection is a vibrant affair, featuring pixelated graphics bathed in sharp hues of blue, beetrootflame red, lime green, and turquoise. Allover patterns and bold graphics inject a modern edge to the range, as seen through the collection’s pixel-filled DAICOCK raw jeans, pixel monogram denim shorts and printed tees, pixel-accented zip-up hoodies and sweatpants, and “pixel camouflage” sweatshirts, tanks, and shorts. Unique colour and fabric blocking play on the theme of distortion as well, channelling an unexpected playfulness that adds a new dimension to the concept of casualwear. This is perfectly executed in the range’s colour blocked souvenir denim hybrid jacket and joggers, as well as the “pixel camouflage” printed pocket shirts. The women’s range features the two-toned “deconstructed cut” denim jacket and boyfriend jeans, which may be paired together for a powerful statement or worn individually for a more laid-back take on the trend. The colour-blocked denim shorts challenge the rules of fashion with EVISU’s iconic seagull back pockets sewn to the front against “misplaced” patches, matching perfectly with a lightweight sweatshirt emblazoned with the collection’s “glitchy” graphic. Distorted prints and graphics grace a variety of tees and trousers, as seen on the range’s Future Fusion tee with exaggerated fringe detail, red and blue fabric appliqué sweatshirts, as well as cotton terry sweatpants. The sharpness of the “Future Fusion” collection is tempered by a selection of sheer items that balances sporty shapes with a soft femininity. The pixel jacquard burn-out souvenir jacket and culottes offer a sophisticated take on the futuristic digital theme, while the loose-fit, lightweight bomber jacket adds a touch of casual femininity to any springtime ensemble.

Season after season, EVISU continues to surprise and inspire as it pushes the boundaries of fashion in innovative, new ways. Balancing the brand’s commitment to traditional quality and craftsmanship with a youthful, carefree attitude, EVISU’s Spring Summer 2016 collection presents another season of reinvented classics that redefines the standard for modern-day streetwear.

Surprise, surprise, Beyoncé has found a way to make money out of her haters selling t shirts  at her concerts with the words boycott Beyoncé on them

Ok they bey hive need to chill out to the point where police etc are worried and also who the hell is Becky chill out ... Who cares and finally now can we all see this is just one big marketing ploy???

Bravo,  bravo, bravo ... Well done team Beyoncé 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 but as always you won't be getting any of my hard earned money .... I stopped taking you seriously a few years back when I saw right through you

Summer Days Festival Announces More Additions to Live Line-Up

Mystery Jets, Milltown Brothers, The Steve Norman Band and The Rainband join the bill

Summer Days – the UK’s newest boutique music and food festival – has unveiled another host of top-level acts to bolster an already incredible and eclectic line-up.

Joining the bill on Saturday night are indie rockers Mystery Jets. Currently touring their new critically acclaimed album - Curve of the Earth - they are a welcome addition to what is fast becoming a day of indie icons and innovators including Echo and the Bunnymen, Everything Everything, Circa Waves and many more.

Also featuring on Saturday’s line up are Colne legends Milltown Brothers who burst onto the indie scene in 1989 with the Coming From The Mill EP which was single of the week in NME. The second single Which Way Should I Jump started a bidding war between the majors and they signed for A&M worldwide in 1990. The band’s fourth studio album ‘Long Road’ was released in 2015.

5-piece Mancunian guitar slingers The Rainband - who made their Glastonbury Festival debut in 2013 – have also been added to the bill on Saturday.

Joining Simply Red on Wednesday 6 July is Steve Norman of Spandau Ballet and his band.

Steve, who is also musical curator of the festival, explained the make-up of his band: “I’ve put together a real dream team of some of the best artists and session musicians in the business that I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with including Toby Chapman who has worked with everyone from Tom Jones to Kylie to Rod Stewart on keyboards, James Stevenson on guitar who was in The Cult, Chelsea and Generation X, Steve ‘Smiley’ Barnard from The Alarm and Robbie Williams on drums, Chris Constantinou who worked with Adam Ant and Sabrina Winters from Stereoblonde on backing vocals.

“We’re going to do a really upbeat and varied set of stuff from a few Spandau songs to some of the anthems that inspired me growing up.”

Summer Days is a three-day boutique music and food festival in the grounds of Clitheroe Castle - one of the North’s most beautiful and unique locations. With two live stages featuring more than 30 artists, a locally sourced gourmet food village and a dedicated real ale area there is much, much more still to be announced.

General access tickets are available from £59.50 per day. A limited number of daily VIP tickets will be available at £149 each.
