Stephen Jones OBE covers Candid Magazine

Candid Magazine announces legendary milliner, Stephen Jones OBE (decked out in Stephen Jones, Christopher Kane, Richard James and Marwood) as its cover star for Issue 13 – The Design Issue, which lands on newsstands in alignment with the spring/summer season of London Collections Men this June.

“Stephen is not just one of the world’s foremost designers, he has helped shape visual culture for decades and is a defining figurehead in fashion and millinery. Having him on the cover of our 13th issue is awesome,” says Candid editor-in-chief, Courtney Blackman

A multi-page fashion photo shoot (at Claridge’s) and interview reveals why Stephen is such a driving force in the industry and in it he explains why Justin Bieber tops his list of people he would like to design a hat for. He also gives us the inside scoop on his new book, Stephen Jones: Souvenirs coming out in October with Rizzoli – with text written by fashion heavyweights, Susannah Frankel and Grace Coddington, as well as his 2018 exhibition at The Royal Pavilion in Brighton, which will chronicle some of his most celebrated collections.

Along with the full feature on Stephen Jones, Candid has scoured the planet for exemplary examples of inspiring design including the world’s top design-influenced cities, which will no doubt surprise readers; one of Brooklyn’s hottest young furniture designers; an edit of the top handcrafted timepieces from Roger Dubuis to Richard Mille; and an exclusive interview with Ferragamo and the story of how an Italian fashion house has stamped its designer mark on luxury, high-performance yachting.

Keeping to its fashion roots, there are exclusive interviews with designers, Dan and Dean Caten from DSquared2 and Joshua Kane from his namesake label, as well as a fashion shoot with Hollywood’s Dylan Sprayberry, Dr. Who's Fady Elsayed and The Art Show's Will Best, plus four fashion editorials from London, Los Angeles, Dubai and back to London.

Candid Magazine Issue 13 will be available worldwide soon in top-tier bookstores, newsagents and specialty stores. The magazine can also be pre-ordered via Candid Magazine.
