DONATE YOUR OLD CLOTHES IN SUPPORT OF CANCER RESEARCH

As a proud sponsor of Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life, F&F is once again encouraging the public to support the incredible cause by donating their unwanted clothing to the charity.

Every two minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer. Cancer Research UK are world

leaders in discovering new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat all 200 forms of the disease.

Donation stations will return to 102 Tesco stores throughout the UK this year from the 4th April – 1st May. All of the clothing donated in this time will be distributed amongst local Cancer Research UK stores and every penny raised in sales will contribute to helping beat cancer sooner.

Due to the donation of the public’s unwanted clothing along with the contribution of unsold F&F stock, last year alone F&F were able to raise £100,000 for Cancer Research UK. As an active supporter of the charity for the last six years, F&F has helped to raise over £5.5m in stock value for Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life, primarily though stock and customer donations.

From sponsored runs and bake sales to pub quiz’s and sponsored silences, more than 300 Race for Life events will take place across the UK in 2016. F&F donation stations are a convenient and effective way to allow the public to help fund the next big discovery in the fight against cancer.
