FRENCH CONNECTION LAUNCHES SPRING SUMMER CAMPAIGN

90S REVIVAL




French Connection launches 2016 with a campaign that reflects back to the successes of the 90s. Inspired by those who championed Cool Britannia and up-and-coming talent such as The Face and i-D Magazine, as well as iconic style moments such as the sequin dress worn by Kelly MacDonald’s Diane in Trainspotting.

 

With a track record for spotting new talent French Connection continues to support those entering the creative spotlight, be it in art, music or fashion.

 

FCUK campaign faces include British singer/Songwriter, #WillHeard who is currently touring with Rudimental and features on their new album, ‘We are the generation’,  Argentinean born, NY based artist #ConieVallese, Parisian Model and actress, #AngieSherbourne, Polish model #CocoKate and British model and self-proclaimed ‘artist in training’ #WilsonOryema.


All collaborators feature in the campaign images, the hashtag being the first level of support from the brand to increase awareness across social media.

 

Photographer Harley Weir shot the campaign for a second season, with her distinctive style and shooting on film, Harley brings FCUK and the 90s to life with relevance in the present day.
