Fornasetti @ yoox.com | New decoration “Marianne"

Thanks to the long term partnership yoox.com was chosen by Fornasetti as online showcase to propose a carefully chosen selection of his creations.

In November 2014 an area, entirely dedicated to the historic atelier, was launched on yoox.com and has experienced an excellent global response being very popular both by the international press and by lovers of the brand.

The sophisticated and slightly ironic objects that are characteristic of the brand were joined by two aprons with the iconic depiction of Adamo and Eva (Adam and Eve), made exclusively for yoox.com as part of a project dedicated to fashion & food.

As a natural continuation of the collaboration with Fornasetti, yoox.com is delighted to contribute to the realization of the exhibition Piero Fornasetti: La Folie Pratique, which celebrates the history and the genius of Piero Fornasetti at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. In occasion of this exhibition, the Milanese atelier dedicates to France a new "Tema e Variazioni" decoration named “Marianne”, where the iconic and enigmatic face of Lina Cavalieri pays homage to one of France's best-known symbols, Marianne, by wearing the Phrygian cap.

On the area dedicated to Fornasetti on yoox.com shoppers can purchase a curated offering of the storied atelier creations which is now enriched by two pieces - a tray and a chair - with the “Marianne” decoration.
