NARS COSMETICS APPOINTS MAKEUP ARTIST ANDREW GALLIMORE

NARS Cosmetics announced today the appointment of makeup artist Andrew Gallimore as the brand’s UK Makeup Artist Ambassador.

“François Nars is a true visionary – makeup artist, photographer, creative director. I’ve long been an admirer of his work and I am excited to be able to contribute to this brand he has built. NARS products are the perfect palette for me as a makeup artist.” says Gallimore.

Gallimore joins the brand with over a decade of experience, having worked alongside renowned photographers such as Patrick Demarchelier and David Bailey and publications including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Dazed & Confused, Love, i-D and Elle. Most recently, Gallimore collaborated with British fashion and portrait photographer, Rankin, to publish his first beauty book, Andrew Gallimore by Rankin, highlighting his dynamic and methodical approach to makeup. Gallimore currently serves as Hunger Magazine’s Beauty Editor-at-Large.

In his role with the brand, Andrew will further reinforce the vision of Founder and Creative Director, François Nars, within the UK market. He will be utilizing NARS’ vast offering to showcase his artistry through editorial, media interviews and events.

Gallimore’s celebrity clientele includes Cara Delevingne, Lily Allen, Suki Waterhouse, Annie Lennox, Jessie J, and Bjork and has led makeup teams throughout London Fashion Week for designers including Holly Fulton, Zandra Rhodes and Erdem.
