Twiggys Previews her Autumn / Winter 14 and Spring 15 range for M&S Collection

Twiggy hosted a cocktail party on the exclusive rooftop of the Ham Yard hotel, presenting her Autumn / Winter 14 collections alongside a preview of what’s to come for Spring.

Since its launch in 2012, Twiggy has worked alongside the M&S design team to develop a collection that is stylish, wearable and effortlessly chic. Inspired by Twiggy’s own signature style and her commitment to making women look and feel great, the Twiggy for M&S Collection continues to combine sophisticated shapes and timeless classics with luxe fabrics and flattering colour palettes.

The Autumn / Winter ‘14 and Spring ‘15 collections see the return of some of Twiggy’s personal favourites; from the effortless lace dress to the staple jegging, alongside some exciting new wardrobe must-haves.

The classic shift shape has been given a glam overhaul in muted sequins, just in time for the festive season. Outerwear has also taken the style forefront; with faux shearling and luxe faux fur creating a dynamic new textural direction for the Autumn and Winter collections.

Accessories now too play a key role in the Twiggy for M&S Collection. Based on styles Twiggy adores, a wearable mid heel court and classic brogue in vibrant colours, perfectly complement the collections; along with statement totes and stylish shoulder bags.

Spring sees a fresh new look; incorporating stunning new prints and modern shaping. The embroidered bomber jacket sits elegantly alongside Twiggy’s now iconic suede jacket, reworked in baby blue. Her go-to dress with secret support has also been re-imagined in post box red with a subtle scalloped edge, for a sophisticated Spring update.

Twiggy adds . . .

“I have always wanted my collection to be a celebration of fashion and femininity; style is about confidence; finding what works for your shape and experimenting! I always mix the things I love – like a pencil skirt or skinny jeans, with something a little bolder, like a leather jacket or a vibrant printed tee, and my collection has a great combination of both. Ultimately it is about having fun with fashion - whatever your age, shape or size”.
