BELSTAFF AND DAVID BECKHAM CELEBRATE THE LAUNCH OF “OFF ROAD”,
A LIMITED EDITION BOOK OF PHOTOGRAPHY BY PETER LINDBERGH
AT BELSTAFF’S NEW YORK FLAGSHIP ON MADISON AVENUE
Belstaff House, 814 Madison Avenue
David Beckham and Peter Lindbergh attended the launch of their beautiful book of photographic outtakes from the Belstaff 2014 global advertising campaign starring Beckham, entitled “Off Road”.
Madison Avenue was closed for the occasion, with a group of Brooklyn bikers riding down the street in celebration of the event.
Beckham officially greeted the band of bikers, who were dressed in vintage and current Belstaff, as they dismounted their motorbikes outside of Belstaff House, the brand’s New York flagship, to great excitement from surrounding crowds.
Beckham then celebrated the book launch by giving exclusive interviews and chatting with the guests inside, made up of international fashion editors and opinion formers and New York’s social set.
Peter Lindbergh flew in from Europe for the occasion and joined Beckham for a media moment outside the store together.
“We didn’t set out with the intention of doing a limited edition book, however the shoot was so amazing with Peter that we felt it would only do it justice to create something special from this. I’m very proud of the work we did together.” - David Beckham
The pair then departed for an intimate and exclusive cocktail party held by Graydon Carter and Vanity Fair in honour of the book, Beckham and Belstaff, at Carter’s restaurant The Monkey Bar.
