On Saturday the Sea Shanty choir singers will blasting out a role of brilliant shanty numbers at John Lewis on Oxford Street in celebration of the Seasalt’s new Autumn Winter collection. Located on the 1st floor from 11am, the choir will be decked in Seasalt stripes, singing their rousing tunes and brings the sounds of the coast to the heart of the city.
Keen to support the tradition, Seasalt are also sponsors of the International Sea Shanty Festival which takes place each summer in Falmouth, Cornwall. When not playing high profile events such as The Tall Ships Regatta or the Olympics, the sea shanty group regularly enthrals audiences and get the feet stomping in theatres, folk clubs, harboursides, pubs and festivals across the UK and Europe.
Seasalt and John Lewis will also be offering customers the exclusive chance to win a 2-night holiday to Cornwall staying at the stunning St Moritz Hotel including dinner and the choice of up to three activities including surfing, a Cowshed spa massage, a sea safari, kayaking or horse-riding.
Seasalt will also be giving away free jute shopper bags.
