Stella McCartney Unveils new Advertising Campaign for STELLA Fragrance




Stella McCartney presents the new advertising campaign images, for her signature scent STELLA. Featuring model Lara Stone and photographed in London by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the standout new campaign illustrates the modern, feminine and naturally confident STELLA woman.

 

An eye-catching duo of images of Lara Stone show the Dutch model’s iconic facial features under a sensual lens. Playful and daring, Stone’s dewy lips catch the faceted sides of STELLA’s flacon in one visual, while another depicts a natural, pared-back portrait. . A third image reveals Lara’s sensual curves and flesh, discreetly covered by STELLA. The photographs convey an attitude that underlines the bold yet feminine spirit of Stella McCartney’s designs. These striking images are supported by a 15 second mood video set to a  soundtrack of Disco/Very by female rock band Warpaint.

 

“STELLA is a celebration of women, and Lara is the perfect representation. She brings the ideas of the fragrance alive, in an honest way, she is a modern woman who is approachable and sensual at the same time,” says Stella McCartney.

 

Launching alongside the advertising campaign, is a vivid new packaging look. Merging the classic with the contemporary, the plum-shaded outer carton is covered in playful embossed gold polka dots. Today, both the new packaging and advertising campaign will launch at Harrods in the UK, with a dedicated STELLA window on Brompton Road. To celebrate the relaunch of her signature fragrance, Stella McCartney will host a private breakfast at Harrods on Wednesday 23rd July.

 

Originally launched in 2003, Stella McCartney’s debut fragrance, STELLA, is a homage to the English rose and a classic expression of femininity. The perfect contrast of the feminine rose with the masculinity of amber gives a sultry finish while reflecting the different facets of the woman.

 

The STELLA range features EDP in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml and STELLA Body Lotion in 200ml.  The new look STELLA range is previewed at Harrods in the UK until August 1st, followed by a worldwide rollout.
