Largest European MCM boutique launches at Harrods
German luxury purveyor MCM opens a new shop in shop concept in Harrods. This new opening sees the largest MCM shop in shop within a department store in Europe.
Complementing the brand’s nearby Sloane Street store, the new Harrods area spans105sqm and is located on Lower Ground Floor, Hall 1. The design concept of natural polished wood, combined with gold metal highlights, reflects the luxurious craftsmanship of the MCM products. A designated lounge area and beautifully merchandised mens and womens accessories, provide a complete MCM experience. On display from July will be the new Autumn Winter 2014 collections of leather goods and accessories.
The shop in shop at Harrods is another big step for MCM’s European expansion. In addition to new stores already opened in Paris and Zurich beginning of this year, further flagship stores and hubs are planned for Berlin, Munich and Frankfurt in Germany in autumn 2014. Those will also feature the new store look and feel.
Today, MCM stores are present in over 35 countries with 300 retail operations worldwide in cities such as Berlin, Dusseldorf, Munich, London, New York, Athens, Zürich, Dubai, Paris, Florence, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai and Seoul.
