Maria Francesca Pepe AW 14

This fall winter celebrates life love and soul creating a colourful, cool and inspiring collection that explores the aesthetics of Pop Art, Basquiat’s graffiti art, street style and sub-urban cultures. The fusion of Tracy Emin’s passionate, neon installations and Walt Whitman’s moving poetry also inspire the imagery of our editorial look book, which showcases the new MFP range of highly desirable jewellery.

The collection features a wider selection of colours, textures and techniques. Fluorescent tones of neon limes, pop fuchsias and deep purples engraved within the enamel scribbles and concrete patterns elevate the graphic and youthful designs. The burned surfaces and distressed metals bring a new light to MFP’s trademark studs and shapes, transforming them into golden treasures. Sharp spikes and multi-coloured letters are encrusted onto the chunky chains, with charming hand-shaped trinkets to express the soulful beats that surround MFP’s most electric collection yet! Additionally, the edgy ear cuffs, midi-finger rings, chained rings, articulated rings, sets of cuffs, brooches, charms and stackable pieces make this collection and the MFP brand not only enjoyable, but also a true trendsetter of the new Avant-Garde jewellery.

This season, we have also collaborated with the London-based knitwear brand WOOL AND THE GANG, to bring you a new take on MFP signed pieces. The collection features the super badass beanies embellished with our statement brooches, including our WEST and EAST coast hand gestures, in addition to the more delicate and feminine headbands embroidered with ruby Swarovski hearts and gold studs.
