Yulia Yefimtchuk+ for Hako Autumn/Winter 2013 collection

Founded in 2011 by designer Julia Efimchuk, Yulia Yefimtchuk+ is a young new wave Ukrainian brand that specialises in womenswear and creates limited edition ready-to-wear collections.

Julia describes Yulia Yefimtchuk+'s consumer as a real city resident, living here and now, but who is also a little shy and reserved in an almost seductive manner”. Intelligence and sincerity, pure colors, smooth and broken lines, and minimalist tailoring with a focus on the intricate details is what defines Yulia Yefimtchuk+. Silhouettes are simple and classic, and complemented by structural details.

Autumn/Winter 2013 brings the first full collaboration between Yulia Yefimtchuk+ and Ukrainian e-shop Hako. After successfully selling her Spring/Summer 2013 collection through the e-shop, both Julia and Hako decided to pursue an infinitely more personal collection, which also allowed them to explore the men’s side of the brand further in creating several outfits. This is a collection that can be safely classified as unisex, and includes shirts, pants, dresses, women's and men's skirts, and jackets.

"The aim for me was to serve a suprematist composition by Kazimir Malevich, street subculture and, in particular, the appearance of hipsters - British mods of the 50s. Also, I was inspired by skateboarding subculture, in which to succeed you need to show considerable persistence. Music is also a big inspiration for me.”

The full collection can be purchased exclusively through www.hakoline.com
