GIORGIO ARMANI DRESSES GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS PARTICIPANTS

Several nominees, presenters and guests of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards were dressed by Giorgio Armani. The show took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday evening, January 13th, and was broadcasted live on NBC at 8pm EST/5pm PST.

Jodie Foster, recipient of the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille Award, has chosen a Giorgio Armani custom blue gown. The dress is covered in blue paillettes and features wide beaded straps that weave together in an intricate design over the chest and a sweetheart bustline. The form-fitting silhouette falls into a slight train. Charlie Foster accompanied his mother to the Golden Globes. He has selected to wear an Emporio Armani black one-button peak lapel tuxedo with a classic shirt and a neck tie. Robert Downey Jr. presented the Cecil B. DeMille Award to Jodie Foster. He has selected to wear a Giorgio Armani midnight blue striped two-button shawl collar velvet jacket with midnight blue evening pants along with a wing collar shirt and a bow tie.

Olivia Munn, one of the stars of HBO’s “Newsroom,” wore a Giorgio Armani Spring/Summer 2013 strapless gown. The bustier is covered in oversized rectangular-shaped turquoise stones that create a herringbone effect. The looks also includes an iridescent hombre waistband that falls into a slim black skirt with a pooling train. “Newsroom” was nominated for Best Television Series — Drama.

Stacy Keibler has selected an Armani Privé black velvet gown. The strapless dress features silver piping in horizontal stripes, accentuating the column silhouette, ending in a cascading train.

Francesca Eastwood, the young actress selected as this year’s Miss Golden Globe, wore a Giorgio Armani vintage sea foam green gown. The tulle dress features an intricately beaded floral design with an irregular hemline, creating an ethereal effect.

Susan Downey has selected a Giorgio Armani navy blue strapless gown, from the "La Femme Bleu” collection. The column gown features a structured bodice and midnight blue feathers accenting the bottom portion of the dress.

Nominee Richard Gere wore a Giorgio Armani classic black two-button notch lapel tuxedo with a white evening shirt and a black neck tie. He was nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for his work in “Arbitrage.”

Nominee Denzel Washington wore a Giorgio Armani black two-button notch lapel tuxedo with a classic white evening shirt and a black neck tie. He was nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for his work in “Flight.”

Nominee Jim Parsons has selected a Giorgio Armani black four-button double breasted shawl collar jersey tuxedo with a classic white evening shirt and a black bow tie. He was nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Comedy or Musical for his role on “The Big Bang Theory.”

Pulitzer prize-winner writer Tony Kushner wore a Giorgio Armani two-button peak lapel tuxedo with a classic evening shirt and a bow tie. He was nominated for Best Screenplay – Motion Picture for his film “Lincoln.”

Mark Wahlberg wore a Giorgio Armani two-button notch lapel tuxedo with a classic evening shirt and a bow tie. He is the executive producer of the multi-nominated HBO series “Boardwalk Empire.”

Suraj Sharma, who stars in “Life of Pi,” has selected to wear an Emporio Armani one-button shawl collar tuxedo with an evening shirt and a black bow tie. “Life of Pi” was nominated for Best Motion Picture – Drama.

Ty Burrell, who stars in “Modern Family,” wore a Giorgio Armani black shawl collar tuxedo with a classic white evening shirt and a black bow tie. “Modern Family” was nominated for Best Television Series – Comedy or Musical.

Presenter George Clooney wore a Giorgio Armani classic tuxedo.

Brian A. Green wore a Giorgio Armani classic black tuxedo with an evening shirt and a bow tie.

Justin Bartha, who stars in ABC’s “The New Normal,” wore a Giorgio Armani midnight blue two-button peak lapel tuxedo with a classic white evening shirt and a midnight blue bow tie.

Photographer Tyler Shields wore an Emporio Armani shawl collar tuxedo with a white dress shirt and a black bow tie.


Select attendees of Golden Globes parties were also dressed by Giorgio Armani:

Christa B. Allen, who stars in NBC’s "Revenge," wore a Giorgio Armani fuschia gown. The strapless dress is tea-length and features an hourglass silhouette.

Ashley Madekwe, co-star of NBC’s "Revenge," has selected a Giorgio Armani hunter green dress. The silk cocktail dress has a crescent shaped bodice and a ruffle detail along the side.

Melissa Benoist, who stars in FOX’s "Glee," wore an Emporio Armani mint green gown. The dress has dramatic cutouts on the sides with an open back featuring black straps.

Actor Alessandro Nivola wore a Giorgio Armani classic black two-button shawl collar tuxedo with a white evening shirt and a black bow tie.

Joel Kinnaman, who stars in the upcoming film “RoboCop,” wore an Emporio Armani charcoal grey notch lapel suit with a white shirt and a black neck tie.

Jai Courtney, who stars in the upcoming film “A Good Day to Die Hard,” has selected to wear a Giorgio Armani black two-button peak lapel tuxedo with a white evening shirt and a black bow tie.

Chord Overstreet, co-star of FOX’s “Glee,” wore an Emporio Armani black one-button shawl collar tuxedo with a white tone on tone striped shirt and a black bow tie.

Dean Geyer, co-star of FOX’s “Glee,” has selected to wear an Emporio Armani classic black one-button peak lapel tuxedo with a black evening shirt and a striped velvet tie.

Tom Riley, who stars in upcoming Starz series “Da Vinci’s Demons,” wore an Emporio Armani midnight blue one-button peak lapel suit with a white shirt and a charcoal patterned neck tie.

Actor Scott Eastwood wore a Giorgio Armani midnight blue two-button peak lapel tuxedo with a classic evening shirt and a bow tie.
