YMC Autumn/Winter 2012 Collection

YMC Autumn/Winter 2012 Collection

Never trend led YMC’s winter collection is inspired by roaming hobo’s and beatniks- both created their own unique look inspired by their social standing and rebellion.

The fabric and colours of the latest offering from YMC are rich and hearty, creating depth to the autumnal palette. Earthy and neutral tones are complemented by strong, vibrant prints with flashes of primary colours- yellow, reds, blues and greens.

As always accessories add to the label’s aesthetic, scarves of differing lengths and thickness, along with printed hats complement the understated cool that YMC perfects every season.

Shoes are practical and strong with materials such as suede and lighter muted leather offering a softer contrast. Its all about the details- buckles, lacing and heels all add to the timeless appeal.

Denim is also a key look in the men’s collection, laid back, rolled up or buttoned down, denim can be worn in many different ways and can be teamed with sneakers or brogues for a versatile look.

The women’s collection has feminine touches- favourites are the pussy bow blouses, print mini skirt and lady like skirts all of which can be paired with more masculine tailoring and knits found in the collection for a more androgynous edge or alternatively can be worn alone lending itself to a more feminine and literally guise.
