The £500 million, 95 storey Shard building opened up recently with a dramatic laser show over London. The 1016ft London landmark which stands on London's South Bank is described as a vertical city and the tallest building in western Europe.
The vertical city boasts offices, restaurants, a luxury hotel, exclusive apartments with upwards of £30-50 million each. There is also an observation deck for thrill seeking sightseers located on floors 68 to 72 and due to open February 2013 with a charge of £24.95.
The shard is set to become an iconic building in London but I for one will not be paying £25 to look at just views ...... Not when I can go to Windows at the Hilton in Park Lane, order a glass of wine for £10, look at views from
The 27th floor for free and go home with change....
