Boucheron Unveil Treasures from their Archives at the 65th Cannes Film Festival










For the first time and during the 65th Cannes Film Festival, Boucheron decided to unveil a few treasures from its creative history on the red carpet.

The House brought out a number of precious jewellery designs from its archives, and presented these to a select few international celebrities present in Cannes for the Festival.

Salma Hayek-Pinault, Andie MacDowell, Nicole Kidman, Inès de la Fressange, Karolina Kurkova, Alexandra Lamy and Jennifer Connelly did not pass up this wonderful opportunity.

Salma Hayek-Pinault chose to wear a necklace dating from 1944, in white and yellow gold set with diamonds and sapphires as well as a bracelet dating from 1986 in leopard-wood and yellow gold set with rubies and diamonds.

Andie MacDowell chose the complete set in leopard-wood and gold set with rubies and diamonds, dating from 1986.

Nicole Kidman wore the Flammes bracelet in platinum and yellow gold set with diamonds, created in 1956.

Inès de la Fressange added to her outfit the Pompon bracelet dating from 1946 as well as a tassel necklace from 1954, that she chose to wear wrapped around her wrist. Both creations are in yellow gold set with diamonds.

Karolina Kurkova and HRH the Princess of Savoy, Clotilde Courau also chose to wear the «Pompon» bracelet.

The French actress Alexandra Lamy donned the Venise necklace in blackened gold set with rubies.

In addition, the American actress Jennifer Connelly wore the Vague bracelet in yellow gold set with diamonds and sapphires, created in 1947.

The presence of the these historic creations on the red carpet was a first glimpse of what Boucheron will be presenting this September at the Biennale des Antiquaires.
