Delia Covezzi SS 12

Delia was born in Africa to Italian parents, and was brought up in the Middle East before moving to London to pursue fashion and studied at CSM. She launched her own label in 2008 and has become know for her high end designs with attention to detail.

The SS12 collection called ‘Metamorphosis’ is an evolutionary body of work inspired by a series of photographs that Delia herself took of ink drops as they dispersed through water.
By capturing the resulting tones and forms as they evolved, Delia used the organic and fluid images as inspiration for her prints. The structured, minimal shapes and silhouettes of her collection serve to complement and accentuate the stunning prints. Combined with luxurious soft silks and a light palette, the result is a strong, exciting, contemporary and fresh collection loved by the likes of Pixie Lott.
