HENTSCH MAN DOES TOM AIKENS

Hentsch Man haven't been able to say anything for a while... But Hentsch Man have bagged Tom!!. Tom Aikens that is, along with his crew of waiters and front of house.

Sometime ago, Hentsch Man was invited to design the staff uniforms at the new Tom Aikens restaurant at 43 Elystan Street. The enviably cool and delicious spot which opened to great acclaim. And though Tom is the genius behind it all, Hentsch Man lent a helping hand in making the place look pretty damn smooth.

The uniforms run in unison with Hentsch Man’s design ethic for simple, elegant and wearable menswear. Style and substance are carefully balanced alongside practicality for use in Tom’s new catering abode. The collection is compact, incorporating a handful of carefully selected items with a sartorial influence.

Relaxed grey & blue shirting in chambray and denim are paired with beige chinos for ‘Bus Boys’. Elsewhere, for the ‘Manager’ and ‘Assistants’, Hentsch Man introduces deconstructed jackets and maroon chinos with harmonizing pale blue and pink shirting. Finishing the collective, the ‘Chef de Rang’ sports khaki chinos with a sleeveless jacket and a choice of blue checked or striped shirt options. Products have been designed to eliminate all fanciful details, ensuring that uniforms are fitted, flattering and subtle.
