Energie has created the ultimate lad shirt for the festive season.
On one side, a red, white and blue check shirt with button-down breast pockets. On the other- a smart navy and white gingham with black buttons.
FULLY REVERSIBLE and 100% cotton- this shirt is a must for a quick change of look pre-party or a cheeky solution to the dilemma of staying out too late and heading straight to work the next day! With gingham majorly on-trend for SS11, this 2-in-1 piece is a savvy and stylish investment or gift idea.
Excellent for a quick change from day to night, Big thumbs up from the Clotheshorse....
This week I was invited along to the preview of Chic & Seek to view their collection and in my favourite words I was completely blown away!
Chic & Seek are online vintage store redistributing much sought after ready to wear pieces aswell as couture. The unique thing is, you can both buy and sell clothing.
Chic & Seek was conceived in the summer of 2009 with the concept of making Top-end fashion uniqueness, available to all. Each piece is handpicked carefully and your always guaranteed good quality clothing. Chic & Seek carry labels such as Chanel, Temperley, Dior, Lanvin too many to mention but very impressive, and the clothing may be vintage but they are practically new. To buy and sell is a very easy process in a few easy steps you can own your special piece of couture. I have visited many vintage stores and Chic & Seek are in my top two.
I do recommend you all check Chic & Seek out you will be amazed with what you see, you can also view the collection online or in the showroom in London by appointment only. By appointment only does not mean you have to mortgage anything, it just means when you visit you will have their undivided attention.
Now let's talk 'Shoes', they have the most amazing shoe room I've ever seen with names such as YSL, Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo, Chanel, Fendi, Gucci, Prada, I could go on and on, and like the clothing they are immaculate and in most cases must-haves.
For years I have loved Jaeger LeCoultre watches for the sleek way they look, what they offer and the way they scream class. I particularly love the Reverso models two watch faces and it comes with a leather strap or various metals.
ABOUT THE COMPANY...
Founded in 1833, Jaeger LeCoultre has been acknowledged since the 19th century as the Grande Maison of the Vallée de Joux. With over 200 patents and more than 1,000 different calibres developed and crafted under one roof, several icon models such as the Reverso, the Duoplan or the Atmos, it is one of the most important and most innovative players in watchmaking history. Jaeger LeCoultre watches are made in Le Sentier and as a true manufacture has had links to other brands like Patek Philippe (making movement for them in 1902). Jaeger LeCoultre shocked the watch world by creating the Hybris Mechanica à Grande Sonnerie, officially the world's most complicated watch.
Whilst your out and about doing your Christmas shopping (those of you in London) a place worth visiting is the John Smedley Flagship store. As you can see from these pictures its absolutely brilliant. Pay particular attention to the fabulous Christmas tree made from 'gloves', but not just any gloves but New Zealand Merino Wool gloves. The tree alone is worth visiting the store for, whilst in-store there are a host of Christmas gift ideas for all the family.
